Every US War had it's battle cry. The Mexican American War, "Remember the Alamo", World War II, "Remember Perl Harbor" and so on. Now we are engaged in a war on terrorism, "Remember 911" is now our cry. Speaking of the enemy, General Patton once told his troops, "Gentlemen, it is an honor and privilege to die for one's country, so let's make sure the poor bastards die for their country"! Always be on guard and let's not ever forget 911. This page is deciated to all who lost their lives on 911 and for those who will loose their lives to protect our freedoms and to seek out and destroy terrorism whereever they are in the world. May God have mercy on them because we won't! Thank God for President George W. Bush ...and for our military! Keep them in your prayers.
Every generation seems to have it's one big rallying event. The X generation is no longer
the X generation. World events become future academy award movies like the Titanic, Toro Toro and Good Morning Vietnam. This tragic event will be extensively written about and endless future movies made for generations to come. We all remember where we were at that tragic day of 911.
The evidence is overwhelming as to the intent of these radical Islam extremist thugs. To topple the USA and civilization as we know it. To kill and maim as many Americans as they can. To force free will thinking people to live and abide under their rule and their God. They are prepared to die for their cause and no matter how many terrorist we kill, 10 will take their place. As President Bush said, we are in it for the long haul. May the American people be united to the end, how ever long it will take. And until the demons of terrorism and evil are totally eradicated from out blessed soil.
Being a Vietnam war vet, I had mixed emotions about that unpopular war and about the reasons we were there. But, this time, there is absolute justification to be in Afghanstan,
Iraq or any place where there is terrorist. "Remember 911" May God Bless the USA. Remember, they are willing to die for their cause, Are you?
Here is a soldier in Iraq who asked his wife to send him some
dirt (U.S. soil), fertilizer and some grass seeds so he can have
the sweet aroma and feel the grass grow beneath his feet. he
is even cutting the grass with a pair of a scissors. Sometimes
we are in such a hurry that we don't stop and think about the
little things that we take for granted. Pray for our Troops.
